The actual on-site work is usually 5 – 10 working days, with the rest of the time being assessment, scheduling and cure time. Full restorations (surface + coping + tiling + equipment) sit at the upper end.

Yes — we work year-round, including the depths of winter. Blue Revive owns four weather-protection structures so we can continue resurfacing regardless of rain, wind or temperature swings. Winter is actually our recommended booking time because demand is lower, scheduling is easier, and you'll be 100% ready for summer.

After your free assessment we typically need 3 – 8 weeks of lead time depending on the season, so we can order materials, coordinate crews, and slot you into our schedule around other projects. Peak spring/early summer books out fastest — if you want a specific start date, contact us early.

The two big ones are substrate issues uncovered during prep (cracks, hollow areas, old repairs failing) and material cure times under non-ideal conditions. Our weather structures fix the second — the first is why a thorough assessment matters. A surprise on day 3 costs more time than two extra hours of upfront inspection ever will.

No. The pool will be drained from the prep stage right through to refill. For most projects that's 10 – 14 days. Plan any family swims or events around your scheduled window.

For a comfortable summer opening, book your free assessment in July or August. That gives you time for the assessment, quote acceptance, scheduling, and the 2 – 3 week project window — with buffer. Winter bookings are our smoothest because our schedule isn't jammed and weather is a non-issue for us.
